8th Grade EOY Ceremonies
8th Grade Families,
We are excited to share the date for our 8th Grade End-of-Year Celebration Ceremonies, which will take place on Tuesday, May 19. Please save the date as we prepare to celebrate our students and their accomplishments.
Ceremony Schedule – Tuesday, May 19
Ceremony 1 – 9:15 a.m.
Homerooms: Barclay, Bouton, Burgess, Feldman, Long, Moody, Nisar, Shupe, Sirard
Ceremony 2 – 11:00 a.m.
Homerooms: Abedin, Boneta, Garchow, Gelderman/Hall, Lajewski, Perkins, Riggle, All Stars, Rising Stars
Important Details
- Each ceremony will last approximately one hour.
- Due to limited parking, we ask that only parents/guardians attend and that families carpool when possible.
- Parents/guardians will enter and exit through the gym doors closest to Cogburn Road.
- Students should arrive at school at their regular time and report directly to homeroom.
- Attire should be appropriate for a nice family dinner.
- Arrival guidelines:
- Ceremony 1 attendees should not arrive before 8:50 a.m. (doors open at 9:00 a.m.)
- Ceremony 2 attendees should not arrive before 10:35 a.m. (doors open at 10:45 a.m.)
Special Note for Families with Innovation Academy Graduates: If you have an immediate family member graduating from Innovation Academy on the same day, and your 8th grade student is assigned to the 11:00 a.m. ceremony, please contact 8th Grade Chair Alona Shupe at shupeA@fultonschools.org.
More details will be shared as we get closer to the event, but we wanted to provide this information now so families can begin planning.
